The Volkssternwarte Cologne is open to the general public. It serves the scientific and cultural education of the people. Its task is to communicate the knowledge gained through science in a simple form to the general public in an understandable way. This is mostly done through star tours — explanations and demonstrations of the starry sky given by expert persons for people with astronomical interest.

For its 100th anniversary, CRENEO was commissioned to develop an image film. At the same time, the film is to be used to recruit new members. A young target group was defined for this. In the course of the project, the picture-word mark was also revised.
