Initial situation
VdS is one of the world’s most renowned institutions for corporate security
The focus is on fire protection, security, natural hazard prevention and cyber security. The services include risk assessments, testing of installations, certification of products, companies and specialists, as well as a wide range of training courses. Over the years, a large number of independent online presences have been created in addition to the main website. CRENEO was tasked with developing a solution to ensure that the complete range of products and services could be displayed under the umbrella of a single address in the future. At the same time, different certifica-tion databases had to be combined and made accessible via a user-friendly application.

After an extensive analysis phase, concrete goals were formulated for the VdS website. Based on this, the next step was to develop a new information architecture that makes the complex company offering quickly accessible.
